Program Strategy
In embodying its mission and vision, INSTRAN collaborates with multi-stakeholders concerning about transportation issues, for example, experts, universities, NGO activists, transportation users, other independent groups and the government.
Since 2002, INSTRAN has been collaborating with ITDP (Institute for Transportation Development and Policy) in New York in introducing and socializing the concepts of busway, facilities for pedestrians, bicycle lanes, Safe Route to School and modernizing pedicab design.

- Documenting transportation issues
- Performing transportation researches
- Campaigning the use of bicycles as transportation mode, walking and safe route to school
- Developing a new pedicab design that is lighter and agronomic
- Performing advocacy against any transportation policies that are not humane, uncivilized, unsustainable and not gender-oriented.
- Documenting news on traffic accident from mass media, studying the impact of traffic accident, and campaigning for the safety of road users.
